Belvedere dei Magazzini Severiani

This terrace corresponds to the complex’s first storey, and is situated on the eastern side of the Severan Warehouses, in correspondence with one of the ramps leading from the hexagonal basin to the two upper storeys, clearly designed for heavy loads. From here, one may enjoy an exceptional view of the Harbour of Trajan (A) and of what was its entrance channel (B), as well as of the development of the entire complex. There was a direct link between the quay and the Severan Warehouses complex, presumably used for a number of different functions closely linked to the port activity.
