The tomb’s interior contained a painted decoration now fully detached and conserved at Depositi Ostiensi. The rear wall’s central aedicule was decorated with perhaps a female figure, oriented towards which are two winged Victories. On the side walls were depicted at left a heroicized deceased man banqueting between two standing figures, and, to the right, a still life with focaccia and hanging wreath; this is followed by a counter upon which other food is placed. The centre of the vault showed Aion, the personification of eternal time and busts of Seasons in the corners. The paintings date to the mid-2nd century AD.
